பின்பு தெலீலாள் சிம்சோனைப் பார்த்து: இதுவரைக்கும் என்னை ஏமாற்றி, எனக்குப் பொய்சொன்னாய்; உன்னை எதினால் கட்டலாம் என்று நீ என்னிடம் சொல்லவேண்டும் என்றாள்; அதற்கு அவன்: நீ என்னுடைய தலைமுடியின் ஏழு ஜடைகளை நெசவுநூல் தறியோடு பின்னிவிட்டால் மற்ற மனிதர்களைப்போல் ஆவேன் என்றான்.
