சிலநாட்கள் சென்றபின்பு, சிம்சோன் கோதுமை அறுக்கிற நாட்களில் ஒரு வெள்ளாட்டுக்குட்டியை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, தன்னுடைய மனைவியைப் பார்க்கப்போய்: நான் என்னுடைய மனைவியின் அறைக்குள் போகவேண்டும் என்றான்; அவள் தகப்பனோ, அவனை உள்ளேபோகவிடாமல்:
