అయితే ఫిలిష్తీయులకు కీడు చేయడానికి యెహోవాయే అతణ్ణి పురిగొల్పుతున్నాడని అతని తల్లిదండ్రులు తెలుసుకోలేదు. ఆ రోజుల్లో ఫిలిష్తీయులు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను పరిపాలిస్తున్నారు.
