நியாயாதிபதிகள் 13:7

அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: இதோ, நீ கர்ப்பவதியாகி, ஒரு மகனைப் பெற்றெடுப்பாய்; ஆதலால் நீ திராட்சை ரசமும் மதுபானமும் குடிக்காமலும், தீட்டானது ஒன்றும் சாப்பிடாமலும் இரு; அந்தப் பிள்ளை பிறந்தது முதல் தன்னுடைய மரணநாள்வரை தேவனுக்கென்று நசரேயனாக இருப்பான் என்று சொன்னார் என்றாள்.

But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death.
