ന്യായാധിപന്മാർ 12:4

അനന്തരം യിഫ്താഹ് ഗിലെയാദ്യരെ ഒക്കെയും വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടി, എഫ്രയീമ്യരോടു യുദ്ധംചെയ്തു അവരെ തോല്പിച്ചു; ഗിലെയാദ്യരായ നിങ്ങൾ എഫ്രയീമിന്റെയും മനശ്ശെയുടെയും മദ്ധ്യേ എഫ്രയീമ്യപലായിതന്മാർ ആകുന്നു എന്നു എഫ്രയീമ്യർ പറകകൊണ്ടു ഗിലെയാദ്യർ അവരെ സംഹരിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

Then Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gilead, and fought with Ephraim: and the men of Gilead smote Ephraim, because they said, Ye Gileadites are fugitives of Ephraim among the Ephraimites, and among the Manassites.
