GIUDICI 12:4

E Iefte adunò tutti i Galaaditi, e combattè contro ad Efraim; e i Galaaditi percossero Efraim; perciocchè dicevano: Voi siete degli scampati di Efraim; Galaad è in mezzo di Efraim e di Manasse.

Then Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gilead, and fought with Ephraim: and the men of Gilead smote Ephraim, because they said, Ye Gileadites are fugitives of Ephraim among the Ephraimites, and among the Manassites.
