​แต่​เยฟธาห์​กล​่าวแก่พวกผู้​ใหญ่​ของกิเลอาดว่า “ท่านไม่​ได้​​เกล​ียดข้าพเจ้า และขับไล่ข้าพเจ้าเสียจากครอบครัวบิดาของข้าพเจ้าดอกหรือ เมื่อคราวทุกข์ยากท่านจะมาหาข้าพเจ้าทำไมเล่า”

And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father’s house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?
