అప్పుడు యెఫ్తా అమ్మోనీయులతో యుద్ధం చెయ్యడానికి వెళ్ళగా యెహోవా అతనికి జయం ఇచ్చాడు గనుక అతడు వాళ్ళని,

¶ So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the LORD delivered them into his hands.
