சீகோன் இஸ்ரவேலர்களை நம்பாததால், தன்னுடைய எல்லையைக் கடந்துபோகிறதற்கு இடங்கொடாமல் தன்னுடைய மக்களையெல்லாம் கூட்டி, யாகாசிலே முகாமிட்டு, இஸ்ரவேலர்களோடு யுத்தம்செய்தான்.
