जब यिप्तह मिस्पा को अपने घर आया, तब उसकी बेटी डफ बजाती और नाचती हुई उससे भेंट करने के लिये निकल आई; वह उसकी एकलौती थी; उसको छोड़ उसके न तो कोई बेटा था और न कोई बेटी।

¶ And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.
