யாக்கோபு 5:12

குறிப்பாக, என் சகோதரர்களே, வானத்தின்பேரிலாவது, பூமியின்பேரிலாவது, வேறு எதன்மீதும் சத்தியம் செய்யாமலிருங்கள்; நீங்கள் தண்டனைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்க்கப்படாதபடிக்கு உள்ளதை உள்ளதென்றும், இல்லாததை இல்லையென்றும் சொல்லுங்கள்.

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
