याकूब 5:12

पर हे मेरे भाइयों, सबसे श्रेष्ठ बात यह है, कि शपथ न खाना; न स्वर्ग की न पृथ्वी की, न किसी और वस्तु की, पर तुम्हारी बातचीत हाँ की हाँ, और नहीं की नहीं हो, कि तुम दण्ड के योग्य न ठहरो।

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
