યાકૂબનો પત્ર 2:23

એટલે આ શાસ્ત્રવચન સત્ય ઠર્યું કે જેમાં કહેલું છે, ‘ઇબ્રાહિમે ઈશ્વર પર વિશ્વાસ કર્યો અને તે તેને માટે ન્યાયીપણા અર્થે ગણવામાં આવ્યો; અને તેને ઈશ્વરનો મિત્ર કહેવામાં આવ્યો.’

And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
