യെശയ്യാവു 9:18

ദുഷ്ടത തീപോലെ ജ്വലിക്കുന്നു; അതു പറക്കാരയും മുള്ളും ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; വനത്തിലെ പള്ളക്കാടുകളിൽ കത്തുന്നു; പുകത്തൂണുകളായി ഉരുണ്ടുപൊങ്ങും.

¶ For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.
