તેથી પ્રભુ તેમના જુવાનોથી હરખાશે નહિ, તેમ જ અનાથો તથા વિધવાઓ પર દયા રાખશે નહિ, કેમ કે તેઓ સર્વ અધર્મી અને કુકર્મ કરનારા છે અને દરેક મુખ મૂર્ખાઈની વાતો બોલે છે. એ સર્વ છતાં પ્રભુનો રોષ સમી ગયો નથી અને તેમનો હાથ હજી ઉગામેલો જ છે.

Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
