યશાયા 66:3

જે બળદને કાપનાર છે તે, માણસને મારી નાખનાર જેવો; જે હલવાનનું અર્પણ કરે છે તે કૂતરાનું ડોકું મરડી નાખનાર જેવો; જે ખાદ્યાર્પણ ચઢાવનાર તે ભૂંડનું રક્ત ચઢાવનાર જેવો; જે ધૂપથી સ્મારક અર્પણ કરનાર છે તે દુષ્ટતાને આશીર્વાદ આપનાર જેવો છે. તેઓએ પોતે જ પોતાનો માર્ગ પસંદ કર્યો છે અને તેઓ ધિક્કારપાત્ર વસ્તુઓમાં આનંદ માણે છે.

He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
