เพราะว่าสวนองุ่นของพระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาคือวงศ์วานอิสราเอล และคนยูดาห์เป็นหมู่​ไม้​​ที่​​พระองค์​ทรงชื่นพระทัย และพระองค์ทรงมุ่งหวังความยุ​ติ​​ธรรม​ ​แต่​​ดู​​เถิด​ ​มี​​แต่​​การนองเลือด​ หวังความชอบธรรม ​แต่​ ​ดู​​เถิด​ เสียงร้องให้​ช่วย​

For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
