เพราะฉะนั้นชนชาติของเราจึงตกไปเป็นเชลย เพราะขาดความรู้ ​ผู้มีเกียรติ​ของเขาก็หิวแย่ และมวลชนของเขาก็​แห​้งผากไปเพราะความกระหาย

¶ Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
