યશાયા 5:6

હું તેને ઉજ્જડ કરી મૂકીશ, તે સોરવામાં આવશે નહિ અને કોઈ તેને ખેડશે નહિ, પણ એમાં કાંટા અને ઝાંખરાં ઊગી નીકળશે, વળી હું વાદળોને આજ્ઞા કરીશ કે તેઓ એમાં વરસાદ ન વરસાવે.

And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
