यशायाह 5:6

मैं उसे उजाड़ दूँगा; वह न तो फिर छाँटी और न खोदी जाएगी और उसमें भाँति-भाँति के कटीले पेड़ उगेंगे; मैं मेघों को भी आज्ञा दूँगा कि उस पर जल न बरसाएँ।

And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
