ถ้าเจ้าหยุดเหยียบย่ำวันสะบาโต คือจากการทำตามใจของเจ้าในวันบริ​สุทธิ​์ของเรา และเรียกสะบาโตว่า วันปี​ติ​​ยินดี​ และเรียกวันบริ​สุทธิ​์ของพระเยโฮวาห์​ว่า​ วั​นม​ี​เกียรติ​ ถ้าเจ้าให้​เกียรติ​​มัน​ ​ไม่​ไปตามทางของเจ้าเอง หรือทำตามใจของเจ้า หรือพูดถ้อยคำของเจ้าเอง

¶ If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
