ஏசாயா 57:17

நான் அவர்கள் பொருளாசையென்னும் அக்கிரமத்தின்காரணமாக கடுங்கோபமாகி, அவர்களை அடித்தேன்; நான் மறைந்து, கடுங்கோபமாயிருந்தேன்; தங்கள் மனம்போனபோக்கிலே மாறுபாடாக நடந்தார்களே.

For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
