યશાયા 54:9

“કેમ કે મારે માટે તો એ નૂહના જળપ્રલય જેવું છે: જે પ્રમાણે મેં સમ ખાધા હતા કે, નૂહનો જળપ્રલય ફરી પૃથ્વી પર થનાર નથી, તેથી મેં સમ ખાધા છે કે હું તારા પર ફરીથી કદી ક્રોધાયમાન થઈશ નહીં, કે તને ઠપકો દઈશ નહિ.

For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
