यशायाह 51:22

तेरा प्रभु यहोवा जो अपनी प्रजा का मुकद्दमा लड़नेवाला तेरा परमेश्वर है, वह यह कहता है, “सुन, मैं लड़खड़ा देनेवाले मद के कटोरे को अर्थात् अपनी जलजलाहट के कटोरे को तेरे हाथ से ले लेता हूँ; तुझे उसमें से फिर कभी पीना न पड़ेगा;

Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:
