ஏசாயா 48:9

என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் என் கோபத்தை நிறுத்திவைத்தேன்; உன்னை அழிக்காதபடி நான் என் புகழ்ச்சியினிமித்தம் உன்மேல் பொறுமையாக இருப்பேன்.

¶ For my name’s sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.
