તેથી મેં તમને પુરાતન કાળથી જાહેર કર્યું હતું; તે થયા પહેલાં મેં અગાઉથી તમને કહી સંભળાવ્યું હતું, જેથી તમે કહી ના શકો કે, “મારી મૂર્તિએ તેઓને આ કર્યુ છે,” અથવા “મારી કોરેલી મૂર્તિએ તથા ઢાળેલી મૂર્તિએ તે ફરમાવ્યાં છે.”

I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.
