ஏசாயா 47:1

பாபிலோனின் கன்னிப்பெண்ணாகிய மகளே, நீ இறங்கி மண்ணிலே உட்காரு; கல்தேயரின் மகளே, தரையிலே உட்காரு; உனக்குச் சிங்காசனமில்லை; நீ கர்வமுள்ளவள் என்றும் சுகசெல்வி என்றும் இனி அழைக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.
