യെശയ്യാവു 47:6

ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ക്രുദ്ധിച്ചു, എന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി, അവരെ നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചുതന്നു; നീ അവരോടു കനിവു കാണിക്കാതെ വൃദ്ധന്മാരുടെ മേൽപോലും നിന്റെ ഭാരമുള്ള നുകം വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

¶ I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.
