યશાયા 47:7

તેં કહ્યું, “હું સર્વકાળ સુધી રાણી તરીકે શાસન કરીશ.” તેં કદી એ વાત ધ્યાનમાં લીધી નહિ અને તેનું પરિણામ શું આવશે એ લક્ષમાં લીધું નહિ.

¶ And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.
