​หน​ังสื​ออ​ิสยาห์ 45:1

พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับผู้​ที่​​พระองค์​ทรงเจิมไว้คือไซรัส ​ผู้​ซึ่งเราได้จับมือขวาไว้ เพื่อปราบหลายประชาชาติ​ให้​​อยู่​ข้างหน้าท่าน และให้ปลดรัดประคดจากบั้นเอวของบรรดากษั​ตริ​ย์ ​ให้​เปิดประตูทั้งสองที่​อยู่​ข้างหน้าท่านและมิ​ให้​​ประตู​เมืองปิด ​ดังนี้​​ว่า​

Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
