యెషయా 44:17

మిగిలిన భాగాన్ని తాను దేవుడుగా భావించే విగ్రహాన్ని చేసుకుంటాడు. దాని ఎదుట సాగిలపడి నమస్కారం చేస్తూ ‘నా దేవుడివి నువ్వే, నన్ను రక్షించు’ అని ప్రార్థిస్తాడు.

And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
