યશાયા 44:17

પછી જે ભાગ બાકી રહે છે તેનો તે દેવ બનાવે છે, તેની મૂર્તિ બનાવે છે, તે તેને પગે લાગે છે અને આદર આપે છે. અને તેની પ્રાર્થના કરીને કહે છે, “મને બચાવ, કેમ કે તું મારો દેવ છે.”

And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
