यशायाह 43:17

जो रथों और घोड़ों को और शूरवीरों समेत सेना को निकाल लाता है, (वे तो एक संग वहीं रह गए और फिर नहीं उठ सकते, वे बुझ गए, वे सन की बत्ती के समान बुझ गए हैं।) वह यह कहता है,

Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.
