യെശയ്യാവു 42:22

എന്നാൽ ഇതു മോഷ്ടിച്ചും കവർന്നും പോയിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ജനമാകുന്നു; അവരൊക്കെയും കുഴികളിൽ കുടുങ്ങിയും കാരാഗൃഹങ്ങളിൽ അടെക്കപ്പെട്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ കവർച്ചയായ്പോയി, ആരും വിടുവിക്കുന്നില്ല; അവർ കൊള്ളയായ്പോയി, മടക്കിത്തരിക എന്നു ആരും പറയുന്നതുമില്ല.

But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
