તે સમયે બાબિલના રાજા બાલઅદાનના દીકરા મેરોદાખ-બાલઅદાને હિઝકિયા પર પત્રો લખીને ભેટ મોકલી; કેમ કે તેણે સાંભળ્યું હતું કે હિઝકિયા માંદો પડ્યો હતો, પણ હવે સાજો થયો છે.
