જ્યારે રાબશાકેહ પાછો ગયો ત્યારે તેને માલૂમ પડ્યું આશ્શૂરનો રાજા લિબ્નાહની વિરુદ્ધ યુદ્ધ કરે છે. વળી તેણે સાંભળ્યું હતું કે તે લાખીશથી ઊપડ્યો છે.
