ஏசாயா 36:11

அப்பொழுது எலியாக்கீமும் செப்னாவும் யோவாக்கும், ரப்சாக்கேயைப் பார்த்து: உம்முடைய அடியாரோடே சீரியமொழியிலே பேசும், அது எங்களுக்குத் தெரியும்; மதிலிலிருக்கிற மக்களின் காதுகள் கேட்க எங்களுடன் யூதமொழியிலே பேசவேண்டாம் என்றார்கள்.

¶ Then said Eliakim and Shebna and Joah unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray thee, unto thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and speak not to us in the Jews’ language, in the ears of the people that are on the wall.
