યશાયા 36:11

પછી એલિયાકીમે, શેબ્ના તથા યોઆહાઝે રાબશાકેહને કહ્યું, “મહેરબાની કરીને આ તારા ચાકરોની સાથે અરામી ભાષામાં બોલ; કેમ કે અમે તે સમજીએ છીએ. પણ કોટ પર જે લોકો છે તેઓના સાંભળતાં અમારી સાથે યહૂદી ભાષામાં બોલતો નહિ.”

¶ Then said Eliakim and Shebna and Joah unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray thee, unto thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and speak not to us in the Jews’ language, in the ears of the people that are on the wall.
