Jesaja 33:1

Ve dig [Assyrien] som tillspilloger [de fientliga nationerna, se vers 3-4] men själv inte blivit tillspillogiven, och som agerar förrädiskt utan att de har agerat förrädiskt mot dig. När du har slutat med att tillspilloge, ska du bli tillspillogiven, och när du har tröttnat på att agera förrädiskt ska de agera förrädiskt mot dig.

Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
