నా ప్రజల భూమిలో ముళ్ళ తుప్పలూ, గచ్చపొదలూ పెరుగుతాయి. వేడుకలు జరిగే పట్టణంలో ఒకప్పుడు సంతోషం నిండిన ఇళ్ళల్లో కూడా ఇలాగే ఉంటుంది. పైనుండి ఆత్మ కుమ్మరింపు జరిగే వరకూ,

Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:
