Nakaaawa ang mga bumababa sa Ehipto para humingi ng tulong at umaasa sa mga kabayo, at magtitiwala sa mga karwahe (dahil sila ay marami) at sa mangangabayo (dahil sila ay hindi mabilang). Pero hindi nila isinasaalang-alang ang Banal ng Israel, ni hinahanap nila si Yahweh!

Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
