એફ્રાઇમના ભાન ભૂલેલા વ્યસનીઓના માળાને, તેની તેજસ્વી સુંદરતાનાં લુપ્ત થતાં ફૂલોને, રસાળ ખીણના મથાળા પરના તેના મહાન શોભા આપનારાં ચીમળાનાર ફૂલોને અફસોસ છે.

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!
