Jesaja 26:5

Want Hij heeft de bewoners der hoogte, der ontoegankelijke veste neergeworpen, Hij vernedert haar, vernedert haar tot de grond toe, doet haar tot in het stof neerstorten.

¶ For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
