మహా సముద్రంపై ప్రయాణించి షీహోరు ప్రాంతం ధాన్యం, నైలు నదికి చెందిన పంట తూరుకు వస్తూ ఉండేవి. తూరు దేశాలన్నిటికీ వర్తక కేంద్రంగా ఉండేది.

And by great waters the seed of Sihor, the harvest of the river, is her revenue; and she is a mart of nations.
