కల్దీయుల దేశాన్ని చూడండి. వాళ్ళిప్పుడు ఒక జనంగా లేరు. అష్షూరు వాళ్ళు దాన్ని క్రూర మృగాలు నివసించే అడవిగా చేశారు. దాని ముట్టడికై వాళ్ళు గోపురాలు కట్టారు. దాని భవనాలను ధ్వంసం చేశారు. దేశాన్ని శిథిలంగా చేశారు.

Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people was not, till the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness: they set up the towers thereof, they raised up the palaces thereof; and he brought it to ruin.
