సందడితో నిండి పోయి కేకలు వేస్తున్న పట్టణమా! వేడుకల్లో మునిగిపోయిన నగరమా! నీలో చనిపోయిన వాళ్ళు కత్తి వల్ల హతం కాలేదు. వాళ్ళు యుద్ధంలో చనిపోలేదు.

Thou that art full of stirs, a tumultuous city, a joyous city: thy slain men are not slain with the sword, nor dead in battle.
