เพราะฉะนั้นบั้นเอวของข้าพเจ้าจึงเต็​มด​้วยความแสนระทม ความเจ็บปวดฉวยข้าพเจ้าไว้อย่างความเจ็บปวดที่หญิงกำลังคลอดบุตร ข้าพเจ้าจนใจเพราะสิ่งที่​ได้ยิน​ ข้าพเจ้าท้อถอยเพราะสิ่งที่​ได้​​เห็น​

Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it.
