อย่านำเครื่องบูชาอันเปล่าประโยชน์มาอีกเลย เครื่องหอมเป็นสิ่งน่าสะอิดสะเอียนต่อเรา วันข้างขึ้น และวันสะบาโต และการเรียกประชุม เราทนอีกไม่​ได้​มันเป็นความชั่วช้า ​แม้แต่​การประชุ​มอ​ันศั​กด​ิ์​สิทธิ์​นั้นด้วย

Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
