તમારો દેશ ઉજ્જડ થઈ ગયો છે; તમારાં નગરો આગથી બાળી નાખવામાં આવ્યાં છે; તમારી હાજરીમાં તમારાં ખેતરોને પારકાઓએ ખેદાનમેદાન કરી નાખ્યાં છે - તેથી તમારી ભૂમિ ઉજ્જડ થઈ ગઈ છે.

Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
