તમારા વ્યર્થ અર્પણો લાવશો નહિ; ધૂપ તો મને ધિક્કારપાત્ર લાગે છે; ચંદ્રદર્શન તથા વિશ્રામવારની સભાઓ! હું આ દુષ્ટ સભાઓ સહન કરી શકતો નથી.

Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
